Shivani has been learning Salsa and Jive for the last 2 years. On Saturday 24 July 2010 her institute had organised their annual dance competition where she and her dance partner won the first prize in the Jive category... For the last one week, from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm our drawing room was converted into a practice hall where her college going dance instructor, who deserves all the credit (she insisted that Shivani dances blindfold), would analyze every move and make them repeat every sequence several times... It was a wonderful feeling seeing her perform on stage yesterday (part of the sequence is posted here)... The icing on the cake was the first prize.
