Amreeka sey aya mera dost, dost ko salaam karo!!!!

Hi friends. It’s been almost a month since Nargis announced free copies of her novel if you drop by her place. No parcels. If you decide to accept that offer please keep a tab on whether the following is true or false about those who come back from Amreeka

Uses Nope for No and Yep for yes.
Tries to use credit card in road side hotel.
Drinks and caries mineral water
Says "Hey" instead of "Hi".
Says "Yogurt" instead says "Curds".
Says "Cab" instead of "Taxi".
Says "Candy" instead of "Chocolate".
Says "Cookie" instead of "Biscuit".
Says " Free Way " instead of "Highway"

Says all distances in Miles and counts in Millions

Tries to figure all prices in Dollars (but deep down multiplies it by 50)
Tries to see the % of fat on the cover of milk packet

Makes fun of IST and Indian roads

Even after a month complains of jet lag

Tries to order for diet coke instead of normal coke

Ties to complain about any thing in India as if he/she is experiencing it for the first time.

Pronounces "Schedule" as "Skejule".

Looks suspiciously towards Hotel/Dhaba food

From the luggage does not remove the stickers of airways by which he/she traveled.

Takes the cabin luggage bag to short visits in India

Yeah its not terribly new but it was basically a bait for Nargis to join the blog...

The new one I heard was when last week one junior officer of ours came back from US. This is what he had to say, " Sir jee unka President bhee itna smart hai aur humara PM ko dekho.."

  8. And perhaps she was expecting something more homely like 'kisso hey, thu nombor ta passurigollu kee rey?'....

Now I can see Nargis yelling bloody murder.
