As a young gal from a very conservative family, with nose buried firmly in books, romance was the last thing on my mind. But someone from Grade 7 decided to link my name with that of a Grade 8boy. The "teasing" continued until the boy graduated. I was for ever worried that my parents would hear about it and take me off from the school. Thankfully, I completed ICSE without such a mishap and lived to tell the tale.
We have a public holiday today as Canadians are celebrating Thanksgiving Day. I choose this day to forgive the dear friend/classmate who unknowningly caused me so much grief and also thank everyone for the friendship and camaraderie on this blog.
