Hi everybody. I am now the newest member of this blog. Faiyaz was almost right. Its not Devdutt but Aditya Padhi. Faiyaz, your deduction skills are amazing. In fact,both Devdutt and I left at the same time to join the local Kendriya Vidyalaya so you were bang on. I am now working in the IAS in the Orissa cadre since 1983. I am the elder brother of Abha and Nibha.
Actually, Tasneem had spoken to me and told me about this Blog almost 3 years back. Since I was relocating from Delhi to Bhubaneswar at that time, I was not able to follow up till Vimal send the invite to me a few days back.
I had met Sister Rosalie a few months back. She is in Paralakhemundi and met me in Bhubaneswar in connection with the visa extension of a Spanish citizen working with her. She is doing fine and has an excellent memory when it comes to remembering SVC alumni. I am also in touch with quite a few of SVCians of my generation who do not figure here like Surendra Choudhury(Pappu), Chittaranjan Choudhury (Chittu), Devdutt Padhi, Saskar Rao, Nagendranath Patnaik ( Nagraj), K Ramachandra Raju, Ashok Kumar Singh ( Babu Singh). Most of us had left SVC at various stages to join the Kendriya Vidyalaya at Berhampur.
This is an amazing effort to link up people. Thanks, Vimal.

Those were the days.....I remember your Dad's NC Padhi Uncle's Bottle Green coloured Car. I've spent evenings with Devdutt and you at your Grandpa's place RC Padhi Uncle who was the then VC of Bam Univ, the light pink coloured walls close to MKCG Hospital.

Hi Aditya, you will not remember me since I was your senior and I left SVC in 1970. I was in Tasneem and Faiyaz's class. Welcome to the greatest blog on earth!!!
Its great to see you aboard. Actually, Vimal has been trying since long to get so many of us to start blogging, and believe me, once u start blogging, its a wonderful platform to share, air your views and in anyway case to rewind and also reconnect. Thanx Vims for dragging so many of us in. Its absolutely fabulous just to know, where each one is , work wise and on the personal front too. I am a new entrant too and njoying every min of it.
By the way Seetha, Tasneem and myself were with Aditya in the same class. Try to recollect!
Faiyaz, now I am really confused. I was in the middle of class VII when I left in July 1970. If I had stayed I would have been in class IX in 1972 and not class VIII, sooooooo???????

On the posting front... well no luck as yet. However, I'm quite enjoying my stint in Chennai. Have moved into the Sterling Rd Quarters and try to make it to Bangalore on the weekends.
