Folks the grand , galactic, gregarious and gorgeously gratifying reunion after 30 years has left us all spellbound. It took time to bring us out from the STUPOR. The place is no Galapagos , but a lovely and compact apartment of LOUIE tucked away in the neighbourhood of HAL market.
Everything flowed copiously admiration, bonhomie, food, bear hugs, and a feeling of joi-de-vivre.
I can say the 'GUEST' for them is the raison-detre' and very existence of the RAUS'.
Stan - the peoples skill specialist , Louie- the archetypal business magnate and Mary - my partner on the podium at GANJAM KALA PARISHAD, BAM where she mellifluously numbered the 'HAATH KI SAFAI' song , as I drummed away with malevolent madness. ( with VIM intoto ).
The other members will be introduced slowly for benefit of the blog members.
CHEERS !!!!!!!!!!

my bad luck i couldn't make it. and now i have to find a dictionary to get the correct feel of your words and also an atlas to find out where and what the hell is galapagos.
irrespective of all that bengalaroo team looks awesome!!!
Aaah, the Corleone clan in vivid pics! Great shots, Naresh.
Louis--you look deadly in those pics.
Looks like Divya has grown taller and slimmer.
Louie,
U may not know this but a bit got reset in my brain (whats left of it ;-) ). In an earlier post, u had mentioned how Bhabani and I were good friends, and from that day I had incorrectly assumed u were Julian. Now I rmbr. u, as a little kid, 3-4 years junior to our batch.
Nice family. Hi Stan. Hi to Mary.
Thx Naresh.
Hi folks! Great to see you all!!
Hi Mary... seeing you after ages - wow!! Nothing like catching up after years, right Naresh? BTW thanx for the post!! Great family..
Lovely pix. Looks like a great get-together.
These Pictures aren't just OK
(Orissa Karnataka)
They're Simply Great!
OMKAR: Bhabani and you good friends?? Saboot batao!
hi naresh,
went thru the details of Galápagos Islands. Was really enchanting!!!
Was also englightened to know that the islands are famed for their vast number of endemic species and the studies by Charles Darwin that contributed to the inception of Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection.
In 1959, the centenary year of Charles Darwin's publication of The Origin of Species, the Ecuadorian government declared 97.5% of the archipelago's land area a national park, excepting areas already colonised.
It is one of the few places in the world without an indigenous population!!
Truly a unique group of islands.
Thanx folks maybe I could stir up some ecstasy in all of you ! Ek jaam doston ke naam !
Arun: Surprised at your Malayali tango, I am no Norman Lewis, I am more like the mad monk Rasputin who flourishes only at times. Don't have the consistency or flow like yours. Pls ' citadel' se mere ke neeche utaaro !
Galapagos is more famous for the world's huge gigantic turtles ' a missing link to the dinosaurs of pre historic era , which inhabit these islands.
Venu: Thanks for the compliment, but the shots were taken by Louie's daughter on my ' Chinon' analogue camera.
Hilu: Yes, normally anyone would confuse Louie to Julian. But Julian is the youngest of them all.Probab you have a nearby access to Galapagos, pls do visit and send us some shots alongwith your family.
Arun , if I am right its near West Indies ???
Faiyaz bhai: I am not too happy with your truncated comments of late. Aur thoda masala ??
Vim and Tas : A special thanx to you !
Galapagos is in Equador. My niece Hina and her husband Michael visited this island during their world trip in 2005-2006. Perhaps you would like to see somepics in their travel blog at

Enjoy.
Arun - Missed you in Bangalore need to meet a rare blend of Milton , Shakespeare & Jeffrey Archer . Maybe next time .
Omkar - You still have a lot of grey left in you . 18 till you die.
We both have one thing in common , pure " Gonjamias "
Producer/Owner Parmar - Yes they both were good friends .Once their fight starts , the whole school used to watch as if a Spanish bull fight was on , and the following day they both would have their arms around each other oblivious of the day gone by, as if to they had a bout of selective amnesia .
Naresh bhai - You made the day for us . We were so perturbed with the visits to the hospital, your visit came as a "stress buster ".Thanks a ton for that buddy.
It was an evening of nostalgia, sharing of experience , discussions of the advantages of the new world which we are in today, but deep down we were reminiscing of the days gone by in Bam, yes we all would love to go back to the sleepy lazy life back out there .
Well my retirement would be in Gopalpur .
Thanks Naresh .
Venu - hey I was in Hyd , sorry couldn't make it , had been to attend my ( cousin)niece's wedding alongwith my family .Will meet up in Feb. How does a Don look , my Kungfu partner?
Thanks anyway.
Tas- Thanks a ton .
Your cousin seems to be a very adventurous person having visited Galapagos .
Hi Tas, thanx for sharing Hina and Michael's travel pages... Amazing pictures. Really envy them!
After having visited Goa during the carnival i now want to photograph the carnival at Rio! Wonder how i can manage on a shoe string budget... No none from SVC staying at Rio??
Yes,awesome travel blog isn't it?
These kids took a year off from work just to travel around the world...only Africa was left out which they did last summer.
They were back-packing...didn't spend an enormous amount but packed in priceless, unimaginable experiences.
Michael is an investment banker with a Swiss bank in London and Hina is in final MBA in the Univ Of Chicago, but presently doing her last sem in London Sch of Economics, so that both can be together. Both amazing kids. They met in Paris on a student exchange programme. Wanderlust made them drag their parents to Sweden (Michael's country) for Christmas and then to Finland and Estonia on two luxury cruises. My sister, Perween is really blessed. Touch wood.
Naresh,
I am confused now. Isn't Julian older than Louis?
naresh,
i think you also need to introduce all the four ladies in the pix. a few details would help us to co-relate better.
Friends
The ladies seated in the back row ( L to R ) are Mary, Stan's daughter (just turned 18), Louie's daughter , Louie's spouse.
