No pun intended? Well perhaps you meant 'fun intended'

Welcome back Faiyaz......we missed the p(f)un !
By the way guys, did anyone see the Barkha Dutt interview of the slumdog crew ? Last I knew she was a TV newsreader.....whoever made her a talk show host !! Anyone who has problems about (and most of them seem to be Indians) about Slumdog showing the wrong side of India should watch this Barkha Dutt show.....luckily the western world has not critically commented on the Indian intelligence, else Barkha Dutt would really present a very very poor picture !!

Hi Faiyaz:
Your dog makes me think--what if Dharmendra were to act in films now--his dialogue would be :

SLUMDOG, KAMINEY, MAIN TERA KHOON PEE JAAONGA

Or notice in 5 STAR HOTELS:

Only owner dogs or Dogsinblogs allowed -noSLUMDOGs please,

JAI HO

Yes Faiyaz, I have talked to Amitabh Palit a couple of times, but still have to meet him. He said he will be travelling till end of January and maybe sometime February onwards, when the weather gets milder I will be driving up north to meet him.

Snoop Doggy Dog - Doggy Style!

Anyways folks, up until a week ago, all I had heard was +ves (well depending who I was speaking with ;-)) about SDM. Now, I hear some criticism about exposing India's underbelly. C'mon let it all hang!

Seriously, movies are supposed to entertain. Indian cinema has waaaaays to go, dealing with varied genre n such, or even dealing with anything remotely touchy.

It is actually more embarassing that they plagiarize, Ghajini (Memento). Hope some of us criticise that in order to get some original thinking into our cinema making. Due respect to the few brave ones who have tried.

Not a single movie say like "Breathless" - Jean Paul Belmondo. Dir - Goddard.
