Vim... Well, I was wondering who she was but Sheila's given the answer. And Sheila, why no blogs? Bahut lambi umar hai teri....just the other day when we had a get together at my place, Sarita, Omkar and I were talking about how you'd vanished...:-}
Hey Sheila , gr8 to have u on the desi blog, seasoned with NRI flavour--what with Omkar hitting the scene --Our dear lady Mme Nargis gave us awonderful reunion at her sprawling mansion --with Shanker bhai playing the role of the caring HOST to the T... How I wished it would never end but alas as it is with all good things this too finished before the fact of being 2gether could really sink in..Guys why cant we gift ourselves more such memorable moments??? Are'nt we losing out on a lot of fun by confining ourselves to our private worlds????Time we became magnanimous and basked in the joy of sharing quality time with one another !!!
Guys , incidentally i bumped into Swati --Shampa's elder sis in puri--she too looks very much the same as in school--shez a Prof. in BJB college ,bhub--she too was in our school 4 sometime. Another illustrous schoolmate whom i caught briefly on facebook is Shantilata Patro-- ironically now she figures in the found and lost list, I tried all possible means to track her but without much success--The onus is now on VIMS--the pastmaster at finding and pinning down the most elusive person--cumon Vimal let loose ur charm & skills!!!
Champa - Yes I do remember her! I generally do not forget beautiful things! Vimal Shanti Lata Patro's number or better still her email! We all had tagged along to Kashmir
I spoke to her this morning... probably after 30 ~ 35 years! It was great talking to her. Let me see if you can identify her!!
