No new clothes to wear nor sweets to feast on - but this Diwali was special!!
On Friday evening and all day Saturday, I donned the oldest pair of jeans and snacked on pizza, while helping the Regina Food Bank collect & sort dry and canned food donations.
The generosity of the regina residents and enthusiasm of volunteers was overwhelming. We collected 175 tonnes of food that will help feed the hungry for the next few months.
