hi Omkar - many many happy returns of the day ( ? 50th ). Though we have not spoken in a while you and the rest of svcians are in my thoughts with plans/resolutions ( posting on the blog , returning Reena's call , calling Seetha who sounds so interesting ,who I do not recollect ever meeting , catching up with old friends who bring back sweet memories with their posts & creative writing ) that simply never get done . I truely think I need some prof help in time management . Even now I am scribbling this between patients - I'll be glad if I can succeed in posting this - so before I get paged & procastinate some more -- have a great b'day . A very happy new yr to all SCHOOLMATES who have invested so much of themselves in our much treasured blog.
PS : I'll take any suggestions from any one who cares to bother!

Being so close to the New Year's Day, I cheat and make the B'Day resolutions same as that of the New Year's ;-)
As regards what I did that day, other than having Dosa (my wife likes it, see even on my own B'day ...), I listened to some Morrissey music off youtube. Hadn't listened to him in 15+ years. If u guys haven't listened to him, I recommend it, he's waaaay far out!

In the midst of shifting residence so missed this mail. Will catch up soooooon...

He has now shifted to a four bedroom mansion overlooking the western ghats!! I have already booked one of his bedrooms for my monsoon weekends. in hindi it is said - maan na maan may tera mehemaan!!!
You are right Seetha... But then nothing compared to your home the images of which you had posted on the blog... and of course location wise not as swanky a place compared to where most of our Mumbai blogmates live - Arun, Banhi, Smita, Sebastian... However, being away from central Mumbai and off the main road we have some greenery out here. This is a nice cozy govt accommodation alloted to Vani. In a year's time we will move to our own flat after getting the interiors done.
Arun: You are most welcome... It would be great spending some time together. Why monsoon which is miles away? How about in a couple of weeks once we are thro with the unpacking? The packers are here already and we have been busy since morning. I'd better go now... will catch up soon...!
