Hi folks, yesterday evening I finally met a fellow SVCian after all these years. Thanks to the blog and facebook I was able to recognize Venu. We really had a good time talking about BAM and catching up. Here are some pics. Can't wait to meet the rest of the gang!

Hi Seetha......and Venu!!
This is great! So while Rayla was celebrating her Happy Birthday you guys were celebrating a Happy MeetDay! You both have such happy happy expressions on your face :-}
I only wish I'd met you too Seetha. Maybe next time!!
Hey Venu, just the other day NRK, Rajalaxmi and I were talking about your complete vanishing act from the blog. Nice to see you...!!
Why did I think of Arun Jaitley and Lucille Ball?
@Nargis----Presto, I am back! Thanks to Seetha for it. It was worth braving the chilling cold that evening for the tete-a-tete meeting.
@Arun---Man, that was a witty observation indeed!
@Seetha---it was great catching up with you and knowing about the visa travails your family members faced. A book on those experiences is a must---now that you have enough masala for it.
Yummy, looks like Oriental food, with Sushi et al.
Nargis - Yes, I too wish we had met. We have to make sure we do meet when you are here next.
Arun - LOL, what an odd combination to think of. So, did you figure out what made you think of them!
Venu - a ride in the metro and fighting the hotel staff to rent a car was definitely worth it! As for the book-writing, I am not sure I am cut out for writing books, especially after seeing the penmanship of the real writers!!!
Omkarji - You guessed oriental right, but it was Chinese, so no sushi!! BTW, I am still waiting for an answer to my question regarding your earlier post that said, "Seethaji does not take to such comments from us", hehehehe!
Seethaji,
"It" was based on my premise that you musta heard such comments "a 1000... times before" ;-) But seriously, there was no contemplation behind it.
Oh, if its a purely Chinese restaurant, then its understandable. There are these places like say "Grand Dragon" which are mostly Chinese but serve sushi, hibachi and a even smattering of Korean food.
Venu,
It was nice having talked to you too, the other day. How much longer are you here?
Hi Seetha, Hi Venu,
Can I time-travel a bit and say "Bon Apetit"? And raise a toast to the spirit of the SVCian?
Debnath
Hilu---my countdown says 4 more days---leaving on Tuesday evening.
Debnath--Pleas go ahead with the toast----cheers from me!
Venu, Tuesday evening - What Time?
JFK???
Seetha, you look awesome!
Haven't I said that before?
Thanks Faiyaz, and indeed you have said 'THAT' many times before and thanks for all those times too!!
We've been taught in School - To speak the Truth and never Lie (Moral Science Series)
When such appetizing dishes are cooked for two SVCians only, imagine the banquet that will be served for the Reunion!(may it happen soon:)
Venu enjoy the cool climate as long as you can (Hyderabad is sizzling!)
It's freezing now in Leeds,as it was in \london yesterday.
Hey Venu, at least you have the Hyderabadi sizzle to look forward to! And am also glad you were able to witness the cherry blossoms of DC. They indeed are a wonderful sight to see.
Seetha, Cherry Blossoms of DC - You mean Deccan Chargers of HYD?
Back to sizzling Hyd after nearly 100 days. Have to contend with the weather here---have started 'cussing' the hot weather instead of the cold weather.
Fai--gonna get back to my CB&CC routine for summer (Chilled Beer and Chilly Chicken).
Thatz a great post... Thanx Seetha.
