Yaadien....Yaad Aati hai....

Hi folks...
I was waiting for Arun to post the blog and do the magic and he did it. Whenever he writes ( whether facts or otherwise...hahaha) he takes people there and makes them feel the situations.

Statutory Warning: Believing all what Arun says... is injurious to health e.g. Seetha mentioning Nigar.

Meri Yaadien...

I was desperately waiting to meet the school mates whom I am meeting in person after 35 long years. But thanks to Vimal, the creator of this wonderful blog. Believe me when I actually met them I just felt that I have met them just a day before. Arun and Vimal were waiting for me and I could recognize them while I was waiting for the signal to turn green which was about 300 metres away.

We knew almost everything about what we did and where we were even before we met. But it was great to re-live the memories once again in person.

Our Ashoka the great....errrr...Alexander the great....errrr....Arun the great...is still the naughty brat I knew him at school. I reminded him about his mom punishing him( I dont think he ever forgot). In the class he used to pull the long plaits of Rita but now he is older and mature....so does not pull plaits anymore but he pull everyone's legs. He does it in a nice and elegant manner.

Our Only Vimal....What do I say about him. I did not know much about him during school days but in one simple sentence I can say he is a wonderful Human being.

Our beautiful Seetha...I don't blame the boys for praising her eyes or her photos. I do remember her in her school days. She was the cute fair girl with beautiful brown eyes. For some people age does not make a difference...she is still very beautiful.

May be all four of us are in our fifties but felt I like we are still the kids in SVC. The time just flew with the platter and chatter. May be we could have continued the chatter till the hotel management threw us out, but Seetha's flight to Chennai saved us. I must thank the boys to take a day off from their busy work schedules.. which is very difficult these days...and made our day. Thanks to Seetha for informing about her trip to Mumbai, Vimal and Arun for the perfect Planning.

Looking forward to meet Arun and Vimal with families at my place sometime soon. They promised me and as true SVCian must stick to their promises.

Simblly loved the word 'boys' to describe fifty year oldies. Maybe its all because of the SVC spirit.

It was really nice meeting you and equally nice to know that you are blessed with a happy family, have a robust sense of humour and are enjoying life. But for this blog we would never have met in this life. Ghosh 37 years is like a lifetime.

Just got back into the blogosphere after a three day hiatus. Thanks to you, Vimal and Arun for coming. Special thanks from me to Arun and Vimal for taking the day off, just to make this meeting happen.

So with Nargis having given the liberty "boys will be boys ...", Lakshmiji, er Jhansiji, u don't look a day older than forty at best! Sincerely spoken.

Nargis...I too regret of not meeting you when you were in Mumbai. The late lateef that I am...joined the blog late. I could have learnt the art of cooking, writing, dressing, revenging, smiling....on goes the list.
Seetha...make a trip to India soon to complete your pending meetings and repeat the completed meetings.
Omkar....thanks for the compliment but some people say I dont look a day younger than 60 hehehe

Now a strain of 'banality ' runs thru Nargis , Seetha and Jhansi with a sporadic staccato ' he he he '.
