Had a long chat with Ms Shameem (080 23231192) --she sounded the same as she was in the sixties -- she was happy to note about our blog,and she mentioned Vimal , Muhund and Suresh? as SVCians who have been in touch with her. She was delighted when I mentioned that her handwriting was legendary ......
I recall one funny incident when Faiyaz, and one other classmate (whose name i do not recall) ,and I had gone to her home one evening --she offered us a plate of sweets and biscuits which we politely refused --and suddenly the power went off -- and when the lights had come on again, the plate was near empty --a lot of platehandling was going on during the dark -- and a few half chewing jaws were visibly embarassed.....
I shall meet her soon
