Hey folks, I am taking a "break" from blogging for a few days --some training days ahead and also to reflect on the times we live in:
Our neighbouring country fighting for Freedom and Democracy --things we take for granted;
So much stress everywhere --people living dysfunctional lives and not realising that they have become rooted to a rat's race
And whatb had happeend to good old values such as Comapssion and Empathy and Tolerance
And what about discovering and relishing the simple pleasures of Nature, and celebrating --- Life ...........

Rat race? I thought we were rooted to the 'Mouse' race?
You know Stan, years ago when I got into my first job I saw a small poster on the wall of a businessman, which became my motto. The poster read "No opportunity is lost. The other fellow takes it." It was much later that i realised the flip side - it kept me on my toes all the time (rat race?)to the extent that not being part of the rat race clan was close to committing crime, as far as professional growth was concerned. I learned to slow down and while I still work hard I take a pause in between to do what I like best - to strengthen the bond of friendship with people like you and other Blogmates so that I do not wake up one morning - years from now - and ask myself, wish I had some friends...
Vimal, what u've written is sheer poetry. Was away at CTC with my parents, did'nt miss anything as much as I missed d blog, but was able 2 ease off some of the loss thru a long tele chat with the David brothers.Vishnu has posted some snaps pls. forward them 2 me and also inspire him 2 chip in here as u did with us, ciao.
