Go ahead! Become an illustrator!!

Folks, I am a line art fan. I love black & white illustrations (which is different from photography, where you have shades of black or various colours). In this case one just uses a black ink pen (now, computers too!) to illustrate - it could be a few simple strokes or an intricate work. Just B&W. No other shade. Go ahead, search for 'line art' under images in Google to see what i am talking about. I envy illustrators. Unfortunately i cannot draw a straight line... So i use freely available software on the WWW to convert my photographs into illustrations. The two photographs on the left. The coloured one is what i shot. The B&W one is what i got after tweaking. Not 100% a line art but kind of there! I like the effect... You too can become an illustrator. Select a photograph that has rich shadows and highlights. Convert to B&W, increase contrast and drop the midtones. Thats all you need to do... Good illustrators are a rare breed and quote a bomb! Now that you know the secret, go ahead and make your first million!
BTW thatz my cousin Vishal. From SVC too! Currently in Hyderabad.

Vimal bhai

Understand your rush of insulin ! But let Doctors do their chores, writers scale papers (go green and use more MS word ),photo and art fanatics like u pursue your blessed path, music lovers strum a 'soprano',

We have the right mix and medley of bloggers pursuing varied avenues.

Just imagine an 'auto guy ' like me fidgeting with clinking wheels, fasteners, components and the like abruptly illustrating portraits. Sacrilege !
