Just wanted to share some of the cute love is... strips with you guys. Sorry can't reproduce them here due to copyright concerns. Clink on this link n enjoy! http://members.tripod.com/~katie_lady/loveis.html
You have transported us from the ' Physical to the ' Metaphysical'.
Everything is so subtle about it !
What is the energy - drink you take which makes you so love- hardy , " pyar-resilient "and thereon distributing the potion ?
Doosron ke dilon me jakar basera karne ka 'lajawaab' kabiliyat aap mein hai !
Sweeping the others beneath their ' ladkhadate feet ' with your post.
I do not know about my blogmates, but within the wilderness of 'materialism' love seems to have waned into Dollars, Euro, Indian rupees, Rials, Dinars and what have u ??
Love is....clicking on the link that you gave and zabardasti making my huzband read it too ;-}
Btw...wanted to ask you something. In fact Shanker was wanting to know....Are you are still with the Bharatiya Rlys or graduated to being a Domestic Engineer like me :-}
Omkar, you borrowed this line from our school badge! And yes, such crisp short sentence but what an impact it makes! You know folks, earlier i used to wonder if such short messages (like Truth is God, Service above self, etc)on school and office walls ever made a difference. But then there are so many examples that show, it sure does make a huge difference. In fact at my place of work where we follow many proven management techniques, we have short message boards placed at strategic locations that over a period of time the message gets imbibed and becomes a habit. I now remember, in one of the junior classes, i was very naughty, talkative, not taking studies seriously, nothing else mattered except cricket and playing in general... my parents, especially my mom was quite worried. On fine morning after giving me a bit of her mind she opened my school box - yes, we did not have back packs at that time - and with a paint brush (no markers!)wrote 3 simple sentences in hindi that read something on the lines that i will be a good boy, i will study well etc. And yes, it did make a big difference. Every time i would open my box that message would hit out at me. Over some time, though i did not turn out to be a brilliant student, i took studies seriously, was less talkative in class, improved my class manners, took up reading in general (remember our school liabrary?)and well folks, here i am!! Thanx Ba (that's what i call my mom). Thanx a ton! Love you lots...
Thanks guys n gals. Nargis, I'm still with Bharatiya Rail. Presently on a sabbatical and practicing at being a domestic engineer! Not much success though.... so will be back with the organization shortly.
