Mukund Rathod

I am sure all old timers of Berhampur would remember Hind Ready Made Stores on Urban Bank Road. Well, Mukund's father started that store way back in the 60's. Its a prominent store even at this point of time...
In school, Mukund was junior to me so senior folks like Tas and others may not be able to place him. The photograph on left was taken by me (probably...1984) in Mumbai where we both moved over for further studies. On right is a recent picture of Mukund with his family. Mukund is a businessman and currently stationed in Berhampur. He reads the Blog regularly but not too keen on Blogging... Drag him into our Blog, folks!

Hi Mukund

Nice to see your family. Recently met your cousin Anil , at SVC, was at Bam for a day.

I recall Mukund was an excellent leg spinner with the occasional ' doosra ' / googly not less than a range of Muralitharan or paraplegic Chandrashekar.

And our immense cricket practising days at ' DIPO padia ' behind railway station.

Start blogging friend !

Hey Mukund,
Why don't you join the blog?
You'll realise that it is more fun to participate than to just read.
Give it a thought... we'd love to have you in our midst.

Hi Mukund,

I know your elder brother I suppose his knick name was Bittu - who used to play Cricket for the University - He was a friend of Prashant Mishra and myself - We played together for Berhampur Univeristy @ Parlakhemundi.
You were quite small, I guess you are Nigars classmate!

Hi Mukund,
I know Bittu and Janthi of your family well. Janthi (now deceased) was a very good pal of my uncle.
