Hey Vimal - what a sweet gesture to upload the press release - i was refraining from doing it cause i was guilty of not having posted on the blog to congratulate alpana for her silver wedding anniversary and Tasneem for her book. So, Please Alpana and Tasneem, here's belated congratulations. Tks so much for all the good wishes - that's what keeps me going. I shall post my speech at the award function ceremony after i get back from Delhi on Friday night. Tks Vimal, Stanley, Faiyaz for your kind comments
cheers

You make us proud.

Permission to indulge please ;-)

So, being a "Conventia", as you go out & meet HMTs (Hindi Medium types) & Orissa board matriculates, they express wonderment that some of us could even get into Eng.
Giving each other a "hard time" was always in vogue, and so one day heavily outnumbered (naturally), I rmbr. having said this in defense - "you know, if u left a bunch of us Conventias, in Italy (yes Italy), by ourselves, we would do just fine, but were a bunch of you to be put in that situation, you would not know, lets just leave it at 'which end is up' ".

Congrats!
