I am the way I am...
It was at Rishikesh last year while walking down one of the narrow lanes that i spotted a tourist who had this coral in one of her ear. I wanted to document the same but there was no way i could have made an image without her knowing... I walked away. Minutes later i gathered courage and decided to walk back and ask her if i could take her (i mean her ear's) photograph. But on my return to the spot i realised that i had lost her. It took quite a while to locate her in one of the shops. Made a request and she obliged. I asked her to turn around and to my surprise noticed that she had a different version on the other ear!

Thanks Vimal Yet again for finding the Lost 'Y'ears!
she can afford two different versions because she knows, "Kisi ko kano kan khabar naheen hogee."
Reminds me of the older folks in my MIL's village, only instead of coral they had wooden sticks. They told me they put those sticks to prevent the ear holes from closing up. However, their ear holes were so big, it beats me how on earth they would close up.
Lekin 'kaan bharna ' zaroor aata hai !
You should not have mentioned In { } "i mean her ear's". Bcause kisiko to tho kano kan khabar hi nahi hota!!
Vimal You "coralled" her alright pardner! Lucky you didnt get a "earful" from her. BTW you have the knack of spotting the right subjects for your pics
Hey Vimal, I second Enarkay, but it looks like the two pictures are not of the same person. The one on the left - has blonde hair, and a very slight tan and the one on the right has red hair and is quite tanned, almost sunburnt! Even the shape of the ear looks different. They both have the same headband though, hmmmmmmm!!!
Are you sure they are of the same person, :-}??? Just curious!!
Same person! A slight shift in position brings about a slight shift in the light source that can have a major impact on the image quality...
But then, even the ear looks different... Right?? Wonder why...
Those things look like beedis to me.....hehehehe...
