Hey I catwalked on April Fool's Day and this is how!!!

Dear Friends
hey i walked the ramp on April 1st - the theme was Pune's `Khann' (cotton material) on the occassion of the launch of `Warsa' - INTACH's second outlet in the city for such ethnic material. Many Pune's celebrities and glamorous youngsters did so and we all had a blast!
Some glimpses, hope u enjoy
cheers and warm rgds

Hey Beauty on the ramp! Boy! This is so refreshing. What a change from those anorexic frames that walk down wearing those unwearable dresses...;-}

Vinita...I should ask my fashion designer dotter to take a look at this....Great going....:-}

i don't agree with others. the fact is:

jo baat tujh mein hai,
teri tasveer mein naheen.

Truly a woman of substance.

Didn't you turn 50 sometime ago? I was reminded of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".

BTW - recommended viewing.

Wow! feels so great - i fished for compliments and got them in abundance!!! Actually my make up friend and photographer are responsible for my good looks. However, let me tell you our sequence was the most un-glamorous - young beauties that walked the ramp and kids simply mesmerised everyone - we oldies were all dumped into this one group. However,I enjoyed myself and my son-in-law Nitin screamed the most from the audience.
Caution note: pl don't be disappointed when u see me in person - i don't look as good for sure!
Seetha i am using your story on skydiving pl send me hi resolution pics on vinitapune@gmail.com
Omkar, yes want to see that film - i guess it will make me feel good!

Udaya, how about an article on our school Blog? Maybe it will inspire others to reach out to old school friends... just a thought.
The central theme being not the Blog but how all have now come together and the warmth that it has brought about... sort of....

great idea and in fact i was thinking about it for quite sometime - why don't u urself write since u r its brilliant creator - not more than 700 words - to make in city centric i will put in how i am a part or it and a part(y) to it, pl let me know - sounds exciting. and pl give me seetha's email id. cheers

Udaya: Not me, my friend... I am quite lazy when it comes to writing. Remember you had asked me to write about my Gangotri trip and the trek? Thatz still pending!
It would be good if you could do that or may be one of our Blogmates could take this further...
PS: Have mailed you Seetha's eMail ID.
