So we all forgot Sir Stanely’s birthday
At the outset my sincere apologies for missing out on wishing you a very happy birthday on the D-day. I actually went through the entire blog last week (its almost become a habit) read about your birthday, Shankar’s birthday and Nargis’s birth day- all lined up in April.
In a conversation with Vims got confused over the dates. He then mailed me your birthday date with proof from the blog. And after so much of back room research I goofed it up. Old age you see.
As a compensation, with due permission of Vims, we have decided to confer the knighthood on Stanely!!!!! (Applause….taliyaan). After all you are the first one to do your Senior Cambridge from St. Vincents.
So HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, Sir Stanely. Hope you enjoyed it with your family members at ‘Galpagos’.
And now the quiz. When was Sir Stanely’s birthday?

Arun's turtle and land of the turtles have been timed well !
Very Happy Belated Birthday to you!! I know Arun has made this a quiz but when was your birthday, so it does not get missed next year?
Happy Birthday Sir Stanley! Though belated the wishes are heartfelt for you from all of us SVCians and families
Hail Sir Stanley!
HPD indeed. U know how in childhood things look so magnified? Like our Dharma a strong man!!!
U were sooooo senior that we (at least I) dared not think what was BS (er, Before Stanley i.e.).
Seriously though, u art the senior most? I can recollect a marble stone with the inscription, "St. Vincent's Convent School, Est. 1926" on the LHS before we entered the gates.
When did SVC became the SVC that we all are so nostalgic about?
Vim Sir?
Many Happy Returns of the Day, Stan!
Hey Guys--thank you for your birthday greetings--btw, my birthday was on the 15th April, and this one is really special as I have been conferred the ultimate honour--recognition by my peers and juniors --who are now calling me Sir Stanley...
Ees naacheez ko aapne itna izzat diya ....
I am reminded of the famous lyrics from a song from the film AADMI:
" Aaj purani raahon se,
koi mujhe awaaz na de...
Na woh deen dharam, na woh ujde sitam, Pahuncha hun jahan se door nahin bhagwan mujhse"
Stanley Saar........
You are quoting a line from 'Aadmi' but sounding like an 'Insaan'....And behaving like 'Mr.India? ;-} What happened? Where have you vanished?
Anywayz....Happy Birthday to me....ooops sorry. To YOU! And now you better wish Mother India...:-}
Happy Birthday, Nargis, to you as well!
I have been around,on the outside of this blog, looking in --and I have been enjoying all the posts --plus the visual treats of everyone, incluidng Mother and Bahus of India
