Thanks for your reactions, friends. Faiyaz, don't blame you for wanting Arch to have his cake and eat it too. However, no polygamy allowed here ok! Would've loved to hear your comment, Nargis! Meanwhile sweets, have fun in the land of Archie and his cronies. This is what my daughter, Alisha had to say to my poser..."Ronnie's got practically everything! so it's only fair for Betty to have him" My cousin Ershe has added "Neither...Archie should marry someone else...Both Veronica and Betty deserve better!" & this is my son's Sheraz's reaction..."Issue 600 will show Archie getting married to Ron bla bla bla and them will come the anticlimax...Archie Andrews will suddenly wake up from his sleep....it was all a dream!....the story has to continue after all, Archie Comics cannot close down shop!..." Anywhichways, Archie comics sales, especially Issue 600 which is slated for release on Sep 8th is sure going to skyrocket (I agree with Vims on this marketing gimmick thingi). I'm sure most of us who have been brought up on a staple diet of this North American utopian romance and who haven't picked up an Archie for almost 2 decades would be eager to buy this one just to know what's gonna happen. Personally, I'd love Archie to marry Betty as I'd always identified myself with her...Ronnie was too way out for my middle class upbringing, I guess ;)) Thanks again, this debate was fun.
