Enjoy your Bangkok trip. Apart from the malls where you get the usual stuff that is available at all malls, the place to shop in is Pratunam Market. You'll go crazy at the array of affordable stuff specially if you want to buy gifts for teenagers back home.

Food in Thailand has been a big attraction for me.
As regards the topic, being a limited viewer of Asian talk shows, my opnion may not be the best. But from whatever I have seen, "instigators" is what I would vote for. The main reason being, I always feel that the mediator already has a bias, which has an impact on the conclusion drawn by the watching public.

Yes, Udaya --I have a few comments on this and I thank you for giving me an opportunity to share with you:

Media unfortunately succumbs to the easy shortcut route of "Instigator" and all that it entails: juicy sensational "bites"; witty asides; sharp innuendoes; TRP ratings, for people love instigative stories and "shadows of doubt' and unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.

On the other hand, the peacemaker route calls for a lot of drudgery and hard work in ferretting truth from entangled masses of data/rumours of all kinds floating around. And the findings are so boring and trite. The Peacemaker needs to have the facility of language and a strong conviction to present Peacemaker issues in a restrained, yet, aggressive manner.

And yes, all this, subject to Media Bosses agreeing.

The trick then is how to make Peacemaking style a TRP success
