"Begaane Shadi mein Abdulla diwana
Aise man mauji ko mushkil hai samjhana..."
Somebody translate this please...
I think this is the third part of the trilogy (Arun's Jap idyll, Vimal's song being the first two)
Most shots were taken with permission. Except where the bride is getting tossed by the groom's friends. I was already at a vantage position and the bride had other things on her mind.
The bride and groom on either side of the stone globe - I was a little late and the couple had just moved off. The bride pushes it with her index finger, and the groom pushes with both hands; significance - obvious, no? In the other one the groom is busy, and he knows it is futile to push anyway.

First the translation:
In the wedding of a stranger,
Debnath goes romantic.
To such a nostalgia-smitten person,
It is very difficult explain realities...
Great pix, beautiful people. Just wonder how things will change a few years down the line... God bless the couple.
Deb
Infallible pictures , except the tossing scene !
Reflexes ..??? was it yours or the camera shutter !
Pls do take a cue or two from VIM in such a fix .
[ in a lighter vein !!]
Those days I had a point and shoot, which had a massive shutter delay. Sorry.
Bin 'Phere' Sanam, Mar Mitenge Hum, Aaa Merii Zindagii, Aanaa Hii Padaa Sajanaaa, Zaalim Hai, Dil ki, Lagii.
Debnath in your case you had obtained prior permission, I had shot a similar picture without their concurrence - perMISSION IMPOSSIBLE!
Great pix Debnath! But look at the rubbish floating around in the sea- it doesn't happen only in India!:)
Superb images Deb... I like the first one... Great location too...!
Nice pics! Is that the sea or a river?
Seems like Russkaya--right? Not far from Petrograd, which Stanley is so fond of.
Thanks guys.
Venu, u r right. It is on the banks of the river Neva, in St. Petersburg. The last shot was in Paris. The couple look a little more polished, no?
Enarkay, the scene is really boisterous, as you can see. All of them singing and dancing. And swigging champagne and breaking the glasses, too. But next morning all the muck is cleared off and absolutely spotless.
btw, nobody commented on the stone globe scene. I think men of this world have accepted supremacy of the female of the species....:)
Grt pics Roydeb!!
