Onset of Thanksgiving, and Shaver Swiss!

Does Shaver Swiss ring a bell? Anyone?

May be this might - so school is out for the whole week, what with Thursday being Thanksgiving, and my boys are home. My wife and I mostly work from home, so with the 2 of them around, its challenging, at best.

Yesterday they spotted a wasp in the house and both of them made it a mission to get "rid" of it. After 35 minutes of evading them, the poor wasp was bid "sayonara" by one and asked by the other if it had any "last words" - kid u I not. You know, they say a man can never be too sure if the kids are really his, but watching the 2 "bewakoofs" taking 35 minutes to corner a wasp (almost like they were in a laser tag game), I muttered to myself "zaroor mere hi betay honge" ;-)

Ah, the part about shaver swiss!

So they decided to ensure that wasps or other insects can never get inside our house, and were about to go outside with 2 bottles of bug sprays. Halt, says the older one. Being tired (after the battle), both agreed its best to get replenished with gatorade, and chugged down 2 bottles of it, cos who knows what kind of danger lurked outside ;-) That instantly reminded me of "shaver swiss" the guy in those 3 cartoon strip commercials in newspapers who would, say, when saw a damsel in distress for example, HAD to have a shave with a Swiss blade (had to dislodge Panama, you see) before rescuing the dame! And there was one, where before saving a child from a burning building even ..., u guessed it!

The wasp incident reminds me of a scene from Guzaarish where Hritik Roshan tries to get rid of a fly on his nose!
