Whatever happened to our famed reunion???
Anyway, on 12 Dec, my college batch (1981, Univ College of Engg, Burla, Sambalpur Univ) is holding a reunion of sorts at Bhubaneswar.
Why 'of sorts'? Well, one of our mates has made it big in the States and he has decided to get all us guys together. He's hosting, and refusing to accept contributions!!
He wants to see how we have changed after 30 years. I'm curious too. We must be a far cry from what we were then. Less of foliage on the top, reading glasses, no more washboard abs..Oh man, must stop such dreary thoughts. Instead, I think there will be a lot of guffawing and backslapping each other, and recounting the various escapades and close shaves (and memorable and legal events too).
What my guzaarish was, in case u know anyone of the batch who hasn't heard of the invite, to please please contact me. I'm on the same id, at hotmail. Thanks a lot.
And yes, Laxmi, I wait to read the posts at the end of day, one of the few tenuous connections with friends..

regarding our re-union i was thinking of roping in Ernst and Young to suggest the structuring and financing part. But bingo you have solved it!!!
Denizens from US (and in our case we can extend it to Canada and Dubai) will be funding the whole thing. So before the dollar crashes lets put on our dancing shoes and get ready for the party of the millenium.
Ok, so i have I have deciphered "amontillado"- it is a pale medium-dry sherry from Spain.
But pray Naresh why should that flow in a party in BBSR sponsored by a dollar man amongst a crowd that is pre-dominantly Oriya?
