The Pune Reunion was indeed warm, pleasant, joyous and rocking! While remembering and endlessly thanking Godfather Vimal (whose blog has brought us together) (and who travelled from Mumbai along with Arun and Lakshmi), Alpana took a dynamic lead in organising this get-together. Reena's coming to `Apna Desh' after 32 years, triggered off the adrenalin in Alpana and after a number of calls, 11 of us got together for a fantastic buffet lunch at Le Meridien. The night before Alpana, Jayant, Reena, Vishwas and I met at IndiJoe for a lively chat and lovely food. I don't know how to give captions to the pics but in the 2 group pics the hot and happening people are: (girls) From left: Reena, Lakshmi, Aruna, Udaya (Vinita), Alpana and Ashu. it was so haertwarming 2 meet up after all these yrs! i am all 4 the next reunion- pl rope in sr rosalie - i'm desperate 2 meet her- she is not answering her mo-does any1 hve her email -id ? thanx every1 4 making it a special day- vimal 4 the huge effort in tracing people, reena 4 coming all the way and the others 4 agreeing 2 meet!

It must've been wonderful meeting up with school friends after so many years. Looks like everyone had a great time.(the wonderful pics are testimomy to this fact)
There is something about childhood friendships that is so special. All these years in between don't matter. We tend to pick up from where we had left off. Hoping to have many more get togethers in future in which I can joining in.
