Although BBSR is known as the temple city chandi mandir of Cuttack is a very popular deity in Orissa. Over the years it has maintained its cleanliness and still looks fresh. For some strange reason I was not allowed to click maa chandi. It was a good excuse to spend more time around St. Josephs' Convent and SB Womens College!!

Good pic, Arun! I'm feeling nostalgic. I used to live in Mission Road, not far away, before shifting to Cantonment Road.
Chandi Mandir was a stone's throw away. Why did you not click a pic of your house?
venu i was waiting for this question. the house where we used to stay has been broken down. although we never "owned" it yet it was a bit sad.its new owners are children of the owner of tara bidi company. they are yet to construct something new.there is one more pix i did not take deliberately- Grand cinema. it looks so forlorn, lonely and dilapiladated that it actually broke my heart.
