A School Of Excellence

This is the school just before the Barabati stadium and after the Cambridge School. My only intention behind visiting this haloed institution was to give Tas and Nargis a good Christmas gift from down the memory lane. Any other reason that is going through your minds is totally baseless, divorced from facts, purely fictional and thirty years too late!

Arun, Thanks ever so much for sharing the pic of my first school. That's the best gift you could give me.
I'll forward it to my eldest sister who passed her Sr. Cambridge from here way back in 1967! She'll also be thrilled.
Thanks once again.
Naya saal mubarak ho.

Good one, Arun! I vividly remember how you used to 'liven up' at that place while doing the Repbulic Day March past to the Stadium. Should I say ' a guilty mind is always suspicious'??

Actually this was my first school too ! Before any one thinks I dressed as a girl to get into this school, in the 70s, it was a co-ed till Std II.

And Kausty, co-ed.. fine... but was it known as St.Joseph's GIRL'S High School at that time?
