All the comments are beginning to sound so redundant I decided to change the greeting.....in any case there are only nine and a half more months left for the new year...............:}
Hey all. Thanks a lot for the wishes. Vimal a special thanks to you....you are really a special guy. Vinita (Faiyaz) : I passed my ICSE in 1982. My batchmates on the blog are Rajlaxmi, Ashu and Louis.....Shanta was there, but seems to have vanished. Vimal's little sis, Hema was also in our batch. (Bache hain !!) Enarkay : Yes, I am in London, been here since 2001. And with age, the celebrations are becoming quieter. This time, my son (actually his Nanny) had baked a cake, made a card and a key ring with his picture. Went back home from office and put a candle on the cake and my son insisted on helping me blow it, which he did and sang me a the birthday song. Done. Sorry everyone for not being more regular, atleast in comments....dont want to give reasons. But I do read each and every post and comment.
Thanks for the "intelligent" comment Faiyaz. I want to clear something up for everyone. When I joined the blog, I asked Tasneem, should I not call her didi or something considering I was a batchmate of her very little sister.....but she said, on the blog it can be names only. When we meet all the apas and didis and bhais and dadas......so please everyone dont think that my using names is without respect.
In our Organization we call each other by their first Name - Even our Senior Vice Presidents including the entire Senior Management - Period! Thats the culture... Why on earth should someone take offence?
