Nitin and Rhheeya
My son-in-law Nitin is in Bhubaneshwar until March 20th for a national tennis tournament. My daughter Rhheeya is accompanying him too. Is there anyone staying in BBSR who Rhheeya could contact for some tips on where to go and what to buy besides of course the usual tourist destinations which we all are aware?

Sure, welcome! Ask Rhheeya to contact me. I'm a hopeless one for giving any tips though and an even hopeless shopper....In fact shanker is better than me on such matters...:-}
tks so much Faiyaz and Nargis - i believe they have found their way but they were very traumatised by the behaviour of Pandas at Lingraj Temple. One of them actually told them that if they do not give Rs.2,500 donation, something ill would befall them! Of course they didn't give but Rhheeya said they were continously hounded. How terrible is this!
Was that Sarita Panda in disguise?

Religion - opium of (for?) the masses! Be it Tirupati, where its best organized (express Darshan for a $$) or Puri where the Pandas run amuck, to what end?
The silver lining would be that they could avoid the same situation if they visit Puri.

That's a constant complaint from tourists. Tragic though.
Btw.....met Sarita the day before. Come to think of it she did look a bit frazzled like she'd just been refused a donation....I had to literally shake her up and say 'Wake Up SID! (sarita in disguise).....Hahahaha!
Udaya: Rajalaxmi called to say that she can spare some time if required... so lemme know and I'll sms her number to you.
BTW ask them to try Podo Pitha, Goja, Pokhalo, Mua...

Hi Rajlaxmi, Rhheeya says she kind of saw all of BBSR as Nitin was busy with the matches - by the way as of today he is in the doubles finals and singles semi-finals. tks for your help. cheers
